2nd Annual Exit 47 Comedy Get Down
On February 26, 2023, E4L is hosting their 2nd Comedy Get Down at the Charles Wadsworth Auditorium in Newnan, Georgia. Doors open @ 5 PM and showtime is @ 6 PM. The all-star lineup consists of:
Award winning comedian, podcaster (Hot Breath), and Trophy Husband Joel Byars. He’s also a writer for Comedy Central and the Weather Channel.
Writer, actress and comedian, Vanessa Fraction, who wrote for The Mo’Nique Show and 106 & Park Top 10 Live. She also joined the cast of Mann and Wife in 2017 and appeared in 2004’s Barbershop 2: Back in Business.
Veteran comedian and actor, Tony Tone, who appeared on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, BET’s “Comic View,” Bryon Allen’s Comics Unleashed, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Tony also has served as Ringmaster for the historic UniverSoul Circus aka “Hip-Hop Under the Big Top.”
Actor, entertainer, stand-up comedian and writer, Mario Tory, who is known for his role in Traffickers (2021). Mario has appeared on Kevin Hart’s “Hart of the City” and “Next Level.” He is the creator of Beards and Buttondowns.
The show will be hosted by Newnan’s own Sevonta, who starred in Nickelodeon’s latest Christmas film, Loud House Christmas.
1st Annual Exit 47 Comedy Get Down
On January 23, 2022, E4L hosted their 1st Comedy Get Down at the Charles Wadsworth Auditorium in Newnan, Georgia. The all-star lineup consisted of podcast award winner (Hot Breath) Joel Byars, seasoned comic Bo P, who starred in BET's show Comic View and Sister Sister and comedian/actor K-Dubb, who has appeared on improv comedy game show Wild 'N Out and Def Jam Comedy. We also had special guests; your favorite Uncle Omar and comedian, Improv artist, and actor, Dontee' Ray. The show was hosted by Newnan's own Sevonta, who recently starred in Nickelodeon's latest Christmas film, Loud House Christmas.
All proceeds of the Comedy Get Down were donated to the families who were affected by the tornado that devastated Newnan and hundreds of homes in March of 2021.
